Hadith 412
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ ، وَلأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا " ، وَذُكِرَ لِي ، وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fixed Dhu’l-Hulaifa as the miqat for the people of Madinah, Juhfa for the people of Sham, Qarn for the people of Najd, and I have not heard (directly), but I have been informed that he fixed Yalamlam as the miqat for the people of Yemen.
