Hadith 407
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، وَابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : " مَا زَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى قَبَضَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) always performed i'tikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan until Allah took him to Himself.
