Hadith 392
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، تَقُولُ : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُدْرِكُهُ الصُّبْحُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ ، فَيَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ " .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that if the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the morning in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah), he would perform ghusl and then observe the fast.
