Hadith 388
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " احْتَجَمَ بِالْقَاحَةِ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ " ، قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ : وَهُوَ فِي سَفَرٍ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done at a place called Qah while he was fasting. Abu Muhammad says: You (peace and blessings be upon him) were on a journey.
