Hadith 363
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ رَيْحَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْعَامِرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيِّ وَلا لِذِي مِرَّةٍ سَوِيٍّ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible for a wealthy and able-bodied person who can work to take charity.
