Hadith 356
حَدَّثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، ومَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " فَرَضَ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ فِي رَمَضَانَ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَلَى كُلِّ حُرٍّ أَوْ عَبْدٍ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made the charity of Fitr obligatory in Ramadan, which is one sa’ of dates or barley upon every free or slave, male or female Muslim.
