Hadith 33
حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بِلَالٍ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «اجْتَنِبُوا اللَّعَّانَيْنِ» ، قَالُوا وَمَا اللَّعَّانَانِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: «الَّذِي يَتَبَرَّزُ عَلَى طَرِيقِ النَّاسِ أَوْ فِي مَجْلِسِ قَوْمٍ».
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Avoid the two cursed acts. The noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah! What are those two acts? He said: Defecating on people's pathways or in their sitting places.
