Hadith 293
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالا : ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ ، قَالَ : " صَلَّيْتَ ؟ قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : قُمْ فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the Friday sermon when a man entered (the mosque). The Prophet asked: "Have you prayed?" He replied: "No!" The Prophet said: "Stand up and offer two rak‘ahs."
