باب الأوقات المنهي عن الصلاة فيهاTimes when prayer is prohibited
Hadith 280
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : " لا يَتَحَيَّنُ أَحَدُكُمْ طُلُوعَ الشَّمْسِ وَلا غُرُوبَهَا " فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that none of you should perform prayer at the time of sunrise or sunset, because the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to prohibit this.
