ما جاء في العيدينPrayer of the two Eids
Hadith 260
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ " تُرْكَزُ لَهُ الْحَرْبَةُ يُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ " ، وَحَدَّثَنَا بِهِ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a spear would be fixed for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (in the Eid ground), towards which he would face and perform the Eid prayer. Abu Saeed Ashaj did not mention the words "on the day of Eid."
