The companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Suhaib (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was offering prayer. I passed by him and greeted him with salam, and he replied with a gesture. Nabil says: To the best of my knowledge, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: He gestured with his finger.
