Hadith 157
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْوسْطَى صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ مَلَأَ اللَّهُ قُبُورَهُمْ أَوْ قَالَ بُيُوتَهُمْ وَبُطُونَهُمْ نَارًا».
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah fill their (the disbelievers’) graves, houses, and bellies with fire; they did not allow us to perform the Asr prayer.
