Hadith 154
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمُ أَذَانُ بِلَالٍ» أَوْ قَالَ نِدَاءُ بِلَالٍ شَكَّ التَّيْمِيُّ «فَإِنَّ الْفَجْرَ لَيْسَ هَكَذَا وَرَفَعَ يَدَهُ وَلَكِنِ الْفَجْرُ الَّذِي هَكَذَا وَمَدَّ أُصْبُعَيْهِ عَرْضًا».
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not eat after the adhan or call (there is doubt from Taymi) of Bilal, because the (true) Fajr is not like this. And he raised his hand upwards. Rather, Fajr is like this. And he spread his fingers sideways.
