باب الوجوه التي يخرج فيها مال الفيءWays of distributing fay’ wealth
Hadith 1114
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ نَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَهُمْ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، لَمَّا قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ حَاجًّا جَاءَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، فَقَالَ لَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ : حَاجَتُكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ؟ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : حَاجَتِي عَطَاءُ الْمُحَرَّرِينَ ، فَإِنِّي " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوَّلَ مَا جَاءَهُ شَيْءٌ بَدَأَ بِالْمُحَرَّرِينَ " .
Aslam (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that when Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Madinah during Hajj, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to him. Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him: Abu Abdur Rahman! What is the matter? He said: My request is that you give a share to the freed slaves, because I have seen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), whenever anything came to him, he would begin with the freed slaves.
