باب ما جاء في البيعةAllegiance
Hadith 1096
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، وَابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، قَالا : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، يَقُولُ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبَايِعُ أَحَدَنَا عَلَى السَّمْعِ وَالطَّاعَةِ ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لَهُ : " فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتَ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to take a pledge from us for hearing and obeying, then he would say: as much as you are able.
