باب قسم أرض العنوةDivision of conquered land
Hadith 1092
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : " لَوْلا آخِرُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مَا فُتِحَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ قَرْيَةً إِلا قَسَمْتُهَا ، كَمَا قَسَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: If I did not have concern for the Muslims who would come after, I would have distributed every city I conquered among the conquerors in the same way that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed the land of Khaybar.
