Sayyiduna Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If Abu Jubair Mut'im bin 'Adi were alive today and interceded with me regarding these filthy ones, meaning the captives of Badr, I would have released them for his sake. In one narration of Sufyan, the words are: MUHAMMAD BIN JUBAIR that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said.
