باب كراهية إدخال المصاحف أرض العدوDislike of bringing Qur’ans into enemy land
Hadith 1064
حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يُسَافَرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ خَشْيَةَ أَنْ يَنَالَهُ الْعَدُوُّ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade taking the Qur'an to enemy territories out of fear that it might fall into the hands of the enemy.
