باب ما جاء في الجاسوس يقدر عليه فيسلمWhat to do with a captured spy
Hadith 1058
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا أَبُو هَمَّامٍ الدَّلالُ ، قَالَ : ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مُضَرِّبٍ ، عَنِ الْفُرَاتِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، وَكَانَ عَيْنًا لأَبِي سُفْيَانَ وَحَلِيفًا ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ ، فَمَرَّ عَلَى حَلَقَةٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ ، فَقَالَ : إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : إِنِّي مُسْلِمٌ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنْكُمْ رِجَالا نَكِلُهُمْ إِلَى إِيمَانِهِمْ مِنْهُمُ الْفُرَاتُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ " .
Sayyiduna Furat bin Hayan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he was a spy and ally of Abu Sufyan. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had given the order to kill him. He passed by a group of the Ansar and said: "I have become a Muslim." One of them said: "O Messenger of Allah! He claims that he has become a Muslim." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some of you are such that we entrust them to their faith. Furat bin Hayan is among them."
