باب من له عذر في التخلفExcuse for staying behind
Hadith 1035
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَبِي السَّمْحِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَجُلا هَاجَرَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي هَاجَرْتُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَدْ هَجَرْتَ الشِّرْكَ ، وَلَكِنَّهُ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، فَهَلْ لَكَ مِنْ أحَدٍ بِالْيَمَنِ ؟ قَالَ : أَبَوَايَ ، قَالَ : أَذِنَا لَكَ ؟ قَالَ : لا ، قَالَ : فَارْجِعْ فَاسْتَأْذِنْهُمَا ، فَإِنْ أَذِنَا لَكَ فَجَاهِدْ وَإِلا فَبِرَّهُمَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man migrated from Yemen and came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I have migrated. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You have left shirk, but you will have to strive in the way of Allah. Do you have any relatives in Yemen? He said: My parents. You asked: Did they give you permission? He said: No! You said: Go back and seek their permission; if they both give permission, then perform jihad, otherwise treat them with kindness.
