باب في ما أمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالدعاء إلى توحيد الله عز وجل والقتال عليهاCommand to call to monotheism and fight for it
Hadith 1032
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ ، قَالَ : ثنا عُثْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدِ بْنَ كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ : أنا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا : لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، فَمَنْ قَالَ : لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ فَقَدْ عَصَمَ مِنِّي نَفْسَهُ وَمَالَهُ إِلا بِحَقِّهَا وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been commanded to fight the people until they declare La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah). Whoever declares La ilaha illallah has protected his life and wealth from me except by right, and his reckoning is with Allah the Exalted.
