Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked about migration. He (peace be upon him) said: May Allah have mercy on you, the requirements of migration are very strict. Do you have camels? He said: Yes! He (peace be upon him) asked: Do you give their zakat? He said: Yes! He (peace be upon him) asked: Do you give their milk as a gift? He said: Yes! He (peace be upon him) asked: Do you milk them at the watering place? He said: Yes! The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Keep performing deeds even while living across the seas, Allah will not decrease the reward of your deeds.
