Hadith 1026
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ ، قَالَ : ثنا هُشَيْمٌ ، قَالَ : ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الحَسَنِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ عَرَفَ مَتَاعَهُ عِنْدَ رَجُلٍ أَخَذَهُ مِنْهُ وَطَلَبَ ذَلِكَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِنْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recognizes his goods with a (bankrupt person), then he should take them from him. Also, if someone has bought them from him, he can take them back from that person as well.
