Hadith 1019
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أنا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ نُفَيْلٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ سَرَقَ مِنَ الأَرْضِ شَيْئًا طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd bin 'Amr bin Nufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever seizes (takes possession of) someone else's land, a collar of seven earths will be put around his neck on the Day of Resurrection.
