Hadith 1013
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُقْرِئِ ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالا : ثنا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : دَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الأَنْصَارَ لِيَقْطَعَ لَهُمُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ ، فَقَالُوا : لا حَتَّى تَقْطَعَ لإِخْوَانِنَا مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّكُمْ سَتَلْقَوْنَ بَعْدِي أَثَرَةً ، فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى تَلْقَوْنِي " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called the Ansar and wanted to grant them plots of land in Bahrain as estates, but they said: "We will not take them until you give them to our Muhajir brothers as well." He said: "After me, others will be given preference over you, so be patient until you meet me."
