Hazrat Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) climbed onto one of the high buildings among the buildings of Madinah, then said: "Do you see what I am seeing? I am seeing the places where tribulations will descend in your homes just like the places where raindrops fall."

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the era of tribulations comes, the one who sits will be better than the one who stands. The one who stands will be better than the one who walks, and the one who walks will be better than the one who runs. Whoever looks into it, the tribulation will snatch him as well. At that time, whoever finds refuge anywhere should take refuge there so that he can protect his religion from tribulations.
