When the purified wife of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, would hear something that she did not understand, she would inquire about it again so that she could understand it. Thus, (on one occasion) the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said that whoever is taken to account will be punished. Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, says that (upon hearing this) I said: Has Allah not said that soon he will be given an easy reckoning? The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: This is only the mention of being presented (in the court of Allah). But whoever’s account is scrutinized (know that) he is ruined.

Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When Allah sends punishment upon a people, the punishment befalls all those who are among them, then they will be resurrected according to their deeds.
