Hazrat Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Paradise will see the upper chambers (of Paradise) above them just as you see the stars in the sky. The narrator (Abdul Aziz) said that then I narrated this hadith to Nu’man bin Abi Ayyash, and he said: I bear witness that I heard Hazrat Abu Sa’id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate this hadith, and in it he added these words: “Just as you see the stars disappearing at the eastern and western horizons.”
Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Paradise will look at those in the upper chambers above them just as one looks at a shining star that remains in the sky at the edge of the horizon in the east or west in the morning. Some of them will be superior to others. The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! These must be the dwellings of the Prophets, which no one else will attain." He replied, "No, by the One in Whose hand is my soul! These will be for those who believed in Allah and affirmed the truth of the Prophets."
