Hadith 1758
Hazrat Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man kissed a woman who was not lawful for him, and then he came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him of this act. Upon this, Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night. Indeed, good deeds erase bad deeds." The man asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Is this (command) only for me?" The Prophet replied: "No, rather it is for my entire Ummah."

Hadith 1759
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I was with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man, Ka'b bin Amr, came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! A legal punishment (hadd) has become obligatory upon me, so carry out the hadd on me." He narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not ask him anything, then the time for prayer came and that man also performed the prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had finished the prayer, that man again came and stood before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! A legal punishment (hadd) has become obligatory upon me, so carry out the hadd on me according to the Book of Allah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "Did you not just pray with us?" He said, "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then Allah has forgiven your sin." Or he said, "Your mistake or your hadd (has been forgiven)."
