Hadith 1755
1755 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رضي الله عنه، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: لاَ أَحَدَ أَغْيَرُ مِنَ اللهِ وَلِذلِكَ حَرَّمَ الْفَوَاحِشَ، مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا، وَمَا بَطَنَ وَلاَ شَيْءَ أحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ الْمَدْحُ مِنَ اللهِ وَلِذلِكَ مَدَحَ نَفْسَهُ
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No one is more protective than Allah, and that is why He has forbidden indecencies, whether they are open or hidden. And nothing is more beloved to Allah than praise, and that is why He has praised Himself.
Hadith 1756
1756 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ اللهَ يَغَارُ، وَغَيْرَةُ اللهِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا حَرَّمَ اللهُ
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah the Exalted feels a sense of protective jealousy, and Allah feels this protective jealousy when a believing servant does something which Allah has forbidden.
Hadith 1757
1757 صحيح حديث أَسْمَاءَ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: لاَ شَيْءَ أَغْيَرُ مِنَ اللهِ
Hazrat Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying that there is no one more possessive (protective of honor) than Allah Almighty.
