Hadith 1732
1732 صحيح حديث أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالجُبْنِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from incapacity, laziness, cowardice, and extreme old age, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of life and death."
