Hadith 1702
1702 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ إِلاَّ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ كَمَا تنْتَجُ الْبَهِيمَةُ بَهِيمَةً جَمْعَاءَ هَلْ تُحِسُّونَ فِيهَا مِنْ جَدْعَاءَ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَبُو هُرَيرَةَ رضي الله عنه: (فِطْرَةَ اللهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا لاَ تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللهِ، ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ)
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every child is born upon the natural disposition (fitrah), but his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian. Just as an animal gives birth to a complete and whole animal—do you see any of its limbs born mutilated? Then Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This is Allah’s natural disposition upon which He has created people. There is no change in Allah’s creation; this is the upright religion.
Hadith 1703
1703 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، فَقَالَ: اللهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the minor children of the polytheists. He replied: Allah knows best what deeds they would have done.
Hadith 1704
1704 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَوْلاَدِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ: اللهُ، إِذْ خَلَقَهُمْ، أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was asked about the minor children of the polytheists. He replied that when Allah created them, He already knew well what deeds they would do.
