Hadith 1692
1692 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى، إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدًا، نَادَى جِبْرِيلَ: إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلاَنًا، فَأَحِبَّهُ، فَيُحِبُّهُ جِبْرِيلُ ثُمَّ يُنَادِي جِبْرِيلُ فِي السَّمَاءِ: إِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَحَبَّ فُلاَنًا فَأَحِبُّوهُ فَيُحِبُّهُ أَهْلُ السَّمَاءِ، وَيُوضعُ لَهُ الْقَبُولُ فِي أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When Allah loves a servant, He calls out to Jibreel (peace be upon him) and says, "Allah loves so-and-so, so you also love him." Thus, Jibreel (peace be upon him) also loves him. Then he announces in the heavens that "Allah loves so-and-so, so you also love him." Consequently, the inhabitants of the heavens also begin to love him, and in this way, he attains acceptance on the face of the earth as well.
