Hadith 1686
1686 صحيح حديث أَبِي مُوسى رضي الله عنه قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا جَاءَهُ السَّائِلُ، أَوْ طُلِبَتْ إِلَيْهِ حَاجَةٌ قَالَ: اشْفَعُوا تُؤْجَرُوا، وَيَقْضِي اللهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مَا شَاءَ
Hazrat Abu Musa narrated that when a beggar would come to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) or a need would be presented before him, he (peace be upon him) would say to the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them): "Intercede, so that you may receive a reward, and Allah the Exalted will decide through the tongue of His Prophet whatever He wills."
