Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that I have not seen anyone suffer (the pain of illness at the time of death) more than the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

Hadith Takhrij«صحیح، أخرجہ البخاري في: 57 کتاب المرضی: 2 باب شدۃ المرض۔»
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I went to the service of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he had a severe fever. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! You have a very high fever." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes, I experience fever as much as two men among you." I asked, "Is it because the reward for you is also doubled?" He replied, "Yes, that is the case. Whatever hardship befalls a Muslim, whether it is a thorn or something more painful, then just as a tree sheds its leaves, in the same way Allah the Exalted makes that hardship an expiation for his sins."

Ata bin Abi Rabah narrated that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said to me, "Shall I not show you a woman of Paradise?" I said, "Certainly, show me." He said, "This black woman came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, 'I suffer from epilepsy and because of it my body becomes uncovered. Please pray to Allah for me.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'If you wish, be patient and you will have Paradise, and if you wish, I will pray to Allah to cure you.' She said, 'I will be patient,' then she said, 'But my body becomes uncovered during the fits, so please pray to Allah that it does not become uncovered.' The Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed for her."
