Hadith 1608
Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that since I embraced Islam, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never prevented me (with a curtain) from entering his house, and whenever he saw me, he would smile happily. Once, I complained to him that I could not sit firmly on horseback, so he struck his blessed hand on my chest and prayed: O Allah! Make him firm on horseback, make him a guide for others to the right path, and keep him himself steadfast on the right path.

Hadith 1609
Hazrat Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: Why do you not relieve me by destroying Dhu al-Khalasah? This Dhu al-Khalasah was an idol house of the tribe of Khath'am, and it was called "Ka'bah of Yemen." Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that then I set out with one hundred and fifty horsemen from the tribe of Ahmas. All these gentlemen were excellent horsemen, but I could not ride a horse well. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) struck my chest with his hand, and I saw the marks of his blessed fingers on my chest. He said: O Allah! Grant him firmness on the back of the horse, and make him a guide for others and one who is himself guided. After this, Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) set out, demolished the building of Dhu al-Khalasah, and set it on fire. Then he sent news of this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The messenger of Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him), Abu Arta’ah Husain bin Rabi’ah, came to the Prophet and said: By Him Who has sent you with the truth! I did not come to you until we had made Dhu al-Khalasah like a camel with an empty belly, or (he said) like a camel with mange (meaning ruined and deserted). Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed for blessings five times for the horsemen of the tribe of Ahmas and for all the people of the tribe.
