Hadith 1603
1603 صحيح حديث جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: اهْتَزَّ الْعَرْشُ لِمَوْتِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: The Throne shook at the death of Sa’d bin Mu’adh.
Hadith 1604
1604 صحيح حديث الْبَرَاءِ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: أُهْدِيَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُلَّةٌ حَرِيرٍ، فَجَعَلَ أَصْحَابُهُ يَمَسُّونَهَا وَيَعْجَبُونَ مِنَ لِينِهَا فَقَالَ: أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ لِينِ هذِهِ لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْهَا، أَوْ أَلْيَنُ
Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him): A silk robe was presented as a gift to the Prophet (ﷺ), and the companions began to touch it and were amazed at its softness and delicacy. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are you amazed at its softness? The handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) in Paradise are far better than this, or (he said) far softer and more delicate than this."
Hadith 1605
1605 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: أْهْدِيَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جُبَّةُ سُنْدُسٍ، وَكَانَ يَنْهى عَنِ الْحَرِيرِ فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ: وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَمَنَادِيلُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هذَا
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a thick type of silk cloak was presented to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as a gift. The Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade men from using it. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were greatly astonished at how fine the silk was. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Are you amazed at this? By Him in Whose hand is the life of Muhammad (peace be upon him)! The handkerchiefs of Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) in Paradise are even more beautiful than this.
