Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), there were four men from the Ansar tribe who had compiled the Qur'an: Ubayy bin Ka'b, Mu'adh bin Jabal, Abu Zaid, and Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with them).

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him): Allah Almighty has commanded me to recite to you Surah "Lam Yakunilladhina Kafaru." Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "Did Allah mention my name?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Yes." Upon this, Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep out of extreme joy.
