Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You were shown to me twice in a dream. I saw that you were wrapped in a piece of silk, and it was being said, "This is your wife." Uncover her face. So I uncovered the face and saw that it was you. I thought, if this dream is from Allah Almighty, then He Himself will fulfill it.

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: I know well when you are pleased with me and when you are angry with me. She said: Upon this I asked, O Messenger of Allah, how do you know this? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you are pleased with me, you say, "No..."

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): I used to play with dolls in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I had many friends who used to play with me. When Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter, they would hide themselves, but he would send them to me and they would play with me.

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): (People used to) wait for the turn of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) to send gifts to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Whether it was with their gifts or by waiting for that specific day (the narrator is in doubt), people sought to please the Prophet (peace be upon him).

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that during his illness of death, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kept asking, "Where will I stay tomorrow? Where will I stay tomorrow?" He was waiting for his turn at Aisha's (may Allah be pleased with her) house. Then the pure wives (may Allah be pleased with them) allowed him to stay wherever he wished, so he stayed at the house of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and his death also occurred there. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that his death occurred on the day when, according to the routine, it was his turn to stay with her. At the time of his passing, his blessed head was between my chest and neck.

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that shortly before his death, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leaning on her back for support. She listened closely and heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplicating: "O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, and join me with my companions."

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that I had heard that every prophet is given the choice between staying in this world or the Hereafter before his death. Then I also heard it from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself, during his final illness, when his voice had become heavy. He was reciting the verse (with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor, etc.) (i.e., with those people upon whom Allah has bestowed His blessings). I became certain that he too had been given the choice.

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): In the time of his good health, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say that whenever the soul of a prophet was taken, he was first shown his place in Paradise, then he was given the choice (the narrator was in doubt whether the word was "yuhya" or "yukhayyar", both have the same meaning). Then, when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell ill and the time (of his death) drew near, his blessed head was on the thigh of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and he was overtaken by unconsciousness. When he regained some consciousness, his eyes looked towards the roof of the house and he said: "Allahumma fil Rafeeq al-A'laa (O Allah, with the Highest Companion)." I understood that now the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would not choose us (i.e., the worldly life). I remembered that hadith which he had narrated in the time of his good health.

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to travel, he would draw lots among his wives. On one occasion, the lot came out in the names of Aisha and Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with them). The Prophet (peace be upon him) would, as usual, walk at night conversing with Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) as they traveled. On one occasion, Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Why don't you ride my camel tonight and I will ride yours, so that you may see new sights and so may I?" She accepted this suggestion, and (each mounted the other's camel). After that, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to the camel of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), but at that time Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) was sitting on it. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) greeted her, then continued on. When they camped, the Prophet (peace be upon him) realized that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was not there (and at this mistake, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was so distressed that) when the people dismounted, the Mother of the Believers put her feet into the grass of idhkhir (in which poisonous insects are abundant) and began to pray, "O my Lord! Set upon me a scorpion or a snake that will bite me." Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says, "I could not say anything to the Prophet (peace be upon him) because this act was my own doing."
