Hadith 1573
1573 صحيح حديث عَلِيٍّ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقولُ: خَيْرُ نِسَائِهَا مَرْيَمُ ابْنَةُ عِمْرَانَ، وَخَيْرُ نِسَائِهَا خَدِيجَةُ
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: Maryam (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of Imran, was the best woman of her time, and the best woman of this Ummah is Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her).
Hadith 1574
1574 صحيح حديث أَبِي مُوسى رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: كَمَلَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ كَثِيرٌ، وَلَمْ يَكْمُلْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلاَّ آسِيَةُ امْرَأَة فِرْعَوْنَ، وَمَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ وَإِنَّ فَضْلَ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النسَاءِ كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ
Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Many men attained perfection, but among women, none attained perfection except Asiya, the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam bint Imran (may Allah have mercy on them). And the superiority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) over other women is like the superiority of tharid over all other foods.
Hadith 1575
1575 صحيح حديث أَبِي هرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: أَتَى جِبْرِيلُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هذِهِ خَدِيجَةُ قَدْ أَتَتْ مَعَهَا إنَاءٌ فِيهِ إِدَامٌ أَوْ طَعَامٌ أَوْ شَرَابٌ فَإِذَا هِيَ أَتَتْكَ فَاقْرَأْ عَلَيْهَا السَّلاَمَ مِنْ رَبِّهَا وَمِنِّي، وَبَشِّرْهَا بِبَيْتٍ فِي الْجنَّةِ مِنْ قَصَبٍ، لاَ صَخَبَ فِيهِ وَلاَ نَصَبَ
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) is coming to you carrying a vessel in which there is curry, or (he said) food, or (he said) a drink. When she comes to you, convey to her greetings of peace from her Lord and from me! And give her the glad tidings of a palace of pearls in Paradise, in which there will be neither noise nor fatigue or hardship.
Hadith 1576
1576 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: قلْتُ لِعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رضي الله عنه: بَشَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَدِيجَةَ قَالَ: نَعَمْ بِبَيْتٍ مِنْ قَصَبٍ، لاَ صَخَبَ فِيهِ وَلاَ نَصَبَ
Hazrat Ismail narrated that I asked Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Awfa, "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) give glad tidings to Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her)?" He replied, "Yes, he gave her the glad tidings of a palace of pearls in Paradise, where there will be neither noise nor fatigue."
Hadith 1577
1577 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مَا غِرْتُ عَلَى خَدِيجَةَ، وَمَا رَأْيْتُهَا وَلكِنْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِر ذِكْرَهَا وَرُبَّمَا ذَبَحَ الشَّاةَ ثُمَّ يُقَطِّعُهَا أَعْضَاءً، ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُهَا فِي صَدَائِقِ خَدِيجَةَ؛ فَرُبَّمَا قُلْتُ لَهُ: كَأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَكنْ فِي الدُّنْيَا امْرَأَةٌ إِلاَّ خَدِيجَةُ فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ، وَكَانَتْ، وَكَانَ لِي مِنْهَا وَلَدٌ
Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Of all the wives of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I felt the most jealousy towards Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), even though I had never seen her. But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to mention her frequently, and whenever he slaughtered a sheep, he would cut it into pieces and send them to the friends of Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her). I often said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as if there is no woman in the world except Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her)! Upon this, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: "She was such and such, and from her I had children."
Hadith 1578
1578 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتِ: اسْتَأْذَنَتْ هَالَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ، أُخْتُ خَدِيجَةَ، عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَرَف اسْتِئْذَانَ خَدِيجَةَ، فَارْتَاعَ لِذلِكَ، فَقَالَ: اللهُمَّ هَالَة قَالَتْ: فَغِرْتُ فَقُلْتُ: مَا تَذْكُرُ مِنْ عَجُوزٍ مِنْ عَجَائِزِ قرَيْشٍ، حَمْرَاءَ الشِّدْقَيْنِ، هَلَكَتْ فِي الدَّهْرِ، قَدْ أَبْدَلَكَ اللهُ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that once Hazrat Khadijah’s (may Allah be pleased with her) sister, Hazrat Halah bint Khuwaylid (may Allah be pleased with her), sought permission to enter upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) remembered the manner in which Hazrat Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her) used to seek permission, and he was startled and said: “O Allah! This is Halah.” Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I felt very jealous at this, and I said: Why do you keep mentioning that old woman of the Quraysh, whose gums had shriveled due to the loss of her teeth, and who died long ago? Allah has given you a better wife than her.
