Hadith 1566
1566 صحيح حديث أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِنَّ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينًا، وَإِنَّ أَمِينَنَا، أَيَّتُهَا الأُمَّةَ، أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ
Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In every nation there are trustworthy people, and the trustworthy one of this nation is Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah.
Hadith 1567
1567 صحيح حديث حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لأَهْلِ نَجْرَانَ: لأَبْعَثَنَّ، يَعْنِي عَلَيْكُمْ، يَعْنِي أَمِينًا حَقَّ أَمِينٍ فَأَشْرَفَ أَصْحَابُهُ، فَبَعَثَ أَبَا عَبَيْدَةَ رَضي الله عَنه
Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people of Najran: "I will send to you a trustworthy person who is truly trustworthy." Upon hearing this, all the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) became eager, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent Hazrat Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him).
