Hadith 1563
1563 صحيح حديث طَلْحَةَ وَسَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ: لَمْ يَبْق مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَعْضِ تِلْكَ الأَيَّامِ، الَّتِي قَاتَلَ فِيهِنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، غَيْرُ طَلْحَةَ وَسَعْدِ، عَنْ حَدِيثِهِمَا
Hazrat Abu Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that in those battles in which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) himself participated, there were some days (such as in the Battle of Uhud) when, except for Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him), no one else remained with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (The narrator says) This statement was made by both Hazrat Talha and Hazrat Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with them) themselves.
Hadith 1564
1564 صحيح حديث جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ يَأْتِينِي بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ يَوْمَ الأَحْزَابِ قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ: أَنَا ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَنْ يَأْتِينِي بِخَبَرِ الْقَوْمِ قَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ: أَنا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا، وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the Battle of the Trench: "Who will bring me news of the enemy's army?" (By enemy here is meant Banu Qurayza.) Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I will." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked again: "Who will bring me news of the enemy's army?" This time also Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I will." Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every prophet has disciples (true helpers), and my disciple is Zubair."
Hadith 1565
1565 صحيح حديث الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ، يَوْمَ الأَحْزَابِ، جُعِلْتُ أَنَا وَعُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، فِي النِّسَاءِ فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا أَنَا بالزُّبَيْرِ عَلَى فَرسِهِ، يَخْتَلِفُ إِلَى بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ، مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ قُلْتُ: يَا أَبَتِ رَأَيْتُكَ تَخْتلِفُ، قَالَ: أَوَ هَلْ رَأيْتَنِي يَا بُنيّ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ يَأْتِ بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ فَيَأتِينِي بِخَبَرِهِمْ فَانْطَلَقْتُ، فَلَمَّا رجَعْتُ جَمَعَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَوَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: فِدَاكَ أَبِي وَأُمِّي
Narrated Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him): On the occasion of the Battle of Ahzab, I and Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) were left among the women (because both of us were children). Suddenly, I saw that Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) (your father) was riding his horse, going towards Banu Qurayza (a tribe of Jews), and this happened two or three times. Then when he returned from there, I said, "Father! I saw you going and coming several times." He said, "Son! Did you really see that?" I replied, "Yes." He said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said, 'Who will go to Banu Qurayza and bring me news of their movements?' So I went there, and when I returned with the information, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), out of great happiness, mentioned both his parents together and said, 'May my father and mother be sacrificed for you.'"
