Hadith 1540
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when we were hiding in the Cave of Thawr, I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that if any of the polytheists looked down at his feet, he would surely see us. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Abu Bakr! What can you say about two persons with whom the third is Allah, the Exalted?

Hadith 1541
Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting on the pulpit, then he said: "Allah Almighty gave one of His righteous servants the choice that he could choose for himself whatever he wished from the blessings of this world, or he could choose what is with Allah (in the Hereafter)." That servant chose what is with Allah Almighty. Upon this, Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep and said, "May our parents be sacrificed for you (O Messenger of Allah)!" (Hazrat Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) says) We were surprised at Hazrat Abu Bakr's (may Allah be pleased with him) weeping. Some people said, "Look at this elder; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is only informing about a servant whom Allah Almighty gave the choice between the blessings of this world and what is with Allah, and he is saying, 'May our parents be sacrificed for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)!'" But it was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself who was given the choice between these two things, and Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was the most knowledgeable among us about this matter. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the people, the one who has favored me the most with his companionship and wealth is Abu Bakr. If I were to take anyone from my Ummah as a close friend, I would have taken Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), but the Islamic brotherhood is sufficient. No door in the mosque should remain open except the door that opens towards the house of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him)."

Hadith 1542
Hazrat Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him for the expedition of Dhat-us-Salasil. (Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that) then I came to the Prophet and asked, "Who do you love the most?" He replied, "Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)." I asked, "And among the men?" He replied, "Her father." I asked, "Then who?" He replied, "Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him)." In this way, he mentioned the names of several men. ()

Hadith 1543
Hazrat Jubair bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a woman came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said to her, "Come again." She said, "If I come and do not find you?" as if she was referring to his death. He said, "If you do not find me, then go to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him)."

Hadith 1544
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the morning prayer, then turned towards the people and said: A man (from the Children of Israel) was driving his cow, when he mounted it and struck it. The cow (by Allah’s power) said: We animals have not been created for riding. Our creation is for plowing the fields. The people said: Glory be to Allah! A cow speaks? Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I believe in this, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar. Even though both of them were not present there. In the same way, a man was grazing his sheep when a wolf came and carried off a sheep from the flock. The shepherd ran and rescued the sheep from the wolf. Upon this, the wolf (by Allah’s power) said: Today you have rescued it from me, but on the day of the beasts (near the Day of Judgment), who will protect it from me, when there will be no shepherd for it except me? The people said: Glory be to Allah! A wolf speaks? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I believe in this, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them). Even though both of them were not present there at that time.
