1517 صحيح حديث جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لِي خَمْسَةُ أَسْمَاءٍ؛ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَحْمَدُ، وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللهُ بِي الْكُفْرَ، وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يَحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمِي، وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ
Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have five names. I am Muhammad, Ahmad, and Maahi (that is, the one who erases), for Allah will erase disbelief through me. And I am Haashir, for all mankind will be gathered after me (on the Day of Resurrection), and I am ‘Aaqib, that is, the Seal of the Prophets.
