Hadith 1491
1491 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: خَدَمْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَشْرَ سِنِينَ، فَمَا قَالَ لِي: أُفٍّ وَلاَ: لِمَ صَنَعْتَ وَلاَ: أَلاّ صَنَعْتَ
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I served the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for ten years, but he never even said "Uff" to me, nor ever said, "Why did you do such-and-such?" or "Why did you not do such-and-such?"
Hadith 1492
1492 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ، أَخَذَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ بِيَدِي، فَانْطَلَقَ بِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ أَنَسًا غُلاَمٌ كَيِّسٌ، فَلْيَخْدُمْكَ قَالَ: فَخَدَمْتُهُ فِي الْحَضَرِ وَالسّفَرِ فَوَاللهِ مَا قَالَ لِي، لِشَيْءٍ صَنَعْتُهُ: لِمَ صَنَعْتَ هذَا هكَذَا وَلاَ لِشَيْءٍ لَمْ أَصْنَعْهُ: لِمَ لَمْ تَصْنَعْ هذَا هكَذَا
Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah, Hazrat Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) took me by the hand and brought me to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Anas is an intelligent boy and he will serve you." Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that after that I served the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) both during journeys and at home. By Allah! The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never said to me regarding anything I had done, "Why did you do this like that?" Nor regarding anything I had not done did he say, "Why did you not do this like that?"
