Hadith 1488
1488 صحيح حديث سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ، وَمَعَهُ رَجُلاَنِ يُقَاتِلاَنِ عَنْهُ، عَلَيْهِمَا ثِيَابٌ بِيضٌ، كَأَشَدِّ الْقِتَالِ، مَا رَأَيْتهُمَا قَبْلُ وَلاَ بَعْدُ
Hazrat Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: On the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and with him were two companions (i.e., Jibreel [Gabriel] and Mika’eel [Michael], peace be upon them, in human form). They were protecting him and fighting the disbelievers with great severity. They were wearing white clothes. I had never seen them before that, nor did I ever see them after that.
