Hadith 1452
1452 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي، وَلكِنْ لِيَقُلْ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "None of you should say, 'My soul has become impure.' Rather, he should say, 'My heart has become corrupted or disturbed.'"
Hadith 1453
1453 صحيح حديث سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: لاَ يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ خَبُثَتْ نَفْسِي، وَلكِنْ لِيَقُلْ لَقِسَتْ نَفْسِي
Hazrat Sahl bin Hunaif narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: None of you should ever say, "My soul has become impure," but he may say, "My heart has become corrupted or disturbed."
