Hadith 1362
1362 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ يَصْبُغُونَ، فَخَالِفُوهُمْ
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Jews and Christians do not dye (their beards, etc.), so you should do the opposite of them (i.e., apply dye).
