Hadith 1316
1316 صحيح حديث أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِذَا شَرِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَتَنَفَّسْ فِي الإِنَاءِ
Hazrat Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When any of you drinks water, he should not breathe into the vessel."
Hadith 1317
1317 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ أَنَسٌ يَتَنَفَّسَ فِي الإِنَاءِ، مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، كَانَ يَتَنَفَّسُ ثَلاَثًا
Thumamah bin Abdullah narrates that Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to drink water in two or three breaths and said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to drink water in three breaths.
