Hazrat Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I was a child under the care of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and (while eating) my hand used to move around the dish. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "O boy! Say 'Bismillah', eat with your right hand, and eat from what is in front of you." After that, I always ate according to this guidance.
